For 40 years the classified football results were read on BBC radio by James Alexander Gordon. His distinctive Scottish brogue and its famous upward and downward inflections giving joy and commiserations to generations of football fans.
He also became associated with this famous score which his friend Eric Morcambe would always greet him with "East Fife four, Forfar five" which never actually happened though did come close in 1963/64 but reversed as Forfar 5 East Fife 4.
Printed in sharp red on one side of a crisp white ceramic mug, all single mugs come wrapped in tissue and packaged in a lovely brown gift box, decorated on the outside with a matching sticker.
